As Chief Investment Officer of CA South, Andrew brings an entrepreneurial drive and extensive institutional experience to creating unique environments and economic value. Andrew is responsible for the overall vision of CA South’s investment strategy and management of the portfolio, overseeing all elements of the investment life cycle from sourcing to disposition.
Across a 25 year career investing in commercial real estate on behalf of both private and public entities, Andrew has honed the ability to balance the application of empirical data in investment decision making with the vision and creativity necessary to deliver exceptional “places”. Through the development of resilient teams and the implementation of innovative processes, Andrew has a track record of driving results for investors through ground up development, strategic repositioning, and capital restructuring.
Most recently with Elme Communities, where he led the acquisition and disposition of properties valued at over $4.2 billion, Andrew’s experience spans across asset classes in gateway, secondary, and tertiary markets.
Andrew is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC). He formerly served on the Boards of the Real Estate Finance Association and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.
