Andrew Kirsh is a founding partner of Sklar Kirsh LLP and is the Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department. Andrew is an experienced commercial real estate transactional attorney, who’s clientele includes a broad spectrum of national, regional and local investors, funds, developers, operators, syndicators, private equity providers and lenders. Andrew’s practice involves all aspects of the real estate industry, including, acquisitions, dispositions, equity investments, syndications, fund formation, development, leasing, financing, note purchases and foreclosures.
Andrew has been recognized by Real Estate Forum in 2011 and 2012 as “Top 40 Under 40″ in the real estate industry nationally, and as a “Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazine (2007-2012). Andrew is a frequent speaker at real estate industry conferences. Andrew most recently spoke on panels at the Real Share National Conference 2010-2012, Apartments National Conference 2010-2012, and Crittenden National Real Estate Conference in 2012.
Andrew is active in the Los Angeles community and serves as a member of the Jewish Federation’s Real Estate Cabinet, the Milken Institute Young Leadership Circle, and American Jewish University Moriah Society.
Andrew was honored to represent the United States as a player on the United States Fast Pitch Softball Team in the 2009 Maccabiah Games in Israel, the World’s third largest sporting event, which occurs every four years, and has been selected to represent the United States in the 2013 Maccabiah Games.
Andrew is married to his wife Courtney, and they live in Santa Monica.
