Sondra Wenger is a seasoned Senior Real Estate Investment Executive with a deep understanding of all US markets and product types from top-tier institutions. She has a proven track record in formulating and executing strategies, identifying investments, securing capital, conducting due diligence, and successfully closing over $17 billion in capitalization.
She excels in driving asset management and growth of equity and debt positions across various risk strategies such as development, value-add, and core. Sondra’s extensive experience spans across 57 markets and encompasses diverse property sectors including residential, office, retail, logistics, hotels, and alternative sectors like data centers, condos, self-storage, life science, medical office, and cold storage. She consistently surpasses performance expectations and has effectively led multicultural and multigenerational teams in both public and private equity-backed firms. Additionally, she has served as a company ambassador by representing the organization in client presentations, speaking engagements, and as a subject matter expert.
Sondra has held senior executive roles at institutions including CBRE Investment Management, CIM Group, General Electric, and Equity Office Properties. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience at Prologis, MacFarlane Partners and Lincoln Property Company in acquisitions, risk and asset management, and finance and accounting, as well as with a Big Four Public Accounting firm.
Sondra serves as a Board Member for the New York Restoration Project, a non-profit organization focused on providing green spaces in underserved communities. She also sits on the boards of two vertically integrated real estate development and investment management companies: CA South in Nashville and American Ventures in Austin. Actively involved in the industry, she is a member of the Urban Land Institute and currently holds the position of Membership Chair on the Executive Board for the Urban Mixed-Use Development Gold Council.
